I have seen several posts on line on taking plastic children's toys and repurposing them. I spray painted the plastic toy horses gold. Next, I took two glass containers and painted each lid gold. The bottom version I painted a gold circle around the container and placed matches inside the vessel. I cut an emery board to fit inside the lid and glued it inside the lid. Taking a glue gun, I glued the horses hooves to each lid. Saved myself $25-35 and kept items out of the landfill.
